Apple announced that the iPad is getting a Calculator app. The announcement was made at WWDC 2024.
The
app is part of iPadOS 18 that features special Apple Pencil support and a new
Math Notes feature. The new feature allows users to write down math problems
and it will solve them.
The app also includes a History feature that contains a history of previous calculations, as well as a unit conversions feature. The first developer beta of iPadOS 18 is available now. The public beta will be available in July, and the official release will be in the fall.
